This chart presents the values of a country for a group of indicators (or all of them), and compares them with the European average. It allows to see if a country is performing above/under EU average and more or less near to the maximum/minimum observed values (corresponding respectively to +1/-1 standardised values). To visualise the original values (not standardised) of the country on the selected group of indicators, look at the table under the chart, presenting these values into four different columns according to the quartile they belong to.
Country profile for Norway in the year 2011
The following table presents the original values of all the indicators for the year and country you have selected. In order to show if it is a high or low value compared with the other countries, values are organized in four columns depending on the number of other countries presenting higher/lower scores. For example, if a country value is in the first column, it means that at least 3 quarters of the other countries show higher values; if it is in the second column, it means that half of the countries have highest values but a quarter lower ones, etc. For some indicators lower values can have a positive meaning, for example the percentage of individuals that have never used the internet.
| The Indicator values belongs to | EU27 value | First quarter of countries with lowest values | Second quarter of countries with medium-low values | Third quarter of countries with medium high values | Fourth quarter of countries with highest values |
